
I personally have not connected directly to the output of audio from Discord to figure this out, but my understanding is you could if you had the network tools to do so (and articles I had read that say this is the case). What you receive depends on your own settings and bandwidth.

It’s more about the bitrate you send to Discord. I had read a number of posts about bot developers that said the same thing, you have to dig a bit to get all that information. There is no magic to how bots stream their sound and Discord accepts whatever bitrate you send to it that is it’s max allowed (which I saw as 384kbps on most posts / blogs / music bots).
