What do I miss by not upgrading to 2.0.5? I'm still on v 2.0.3 and I don't use Magic Lantern (I don't believe in magic. (I was waiting for 2.0.5 compatibility but it seems to me that it won't be here for a long time) So, it's possible to downgrade from 2.0.5 to 2.0.3 in order to use Magic Lantern. click yes, wait 5 minutes or so and you're done :) you will be prompted to switch from 2.0.5 to 2.0.3. fir file on the SD and start the upgrade. then I DOWNgraded to 2.0.3 just like upgrading. So I realized Magic Lantern won't work on 2.0.5. Pancho, I actually bought the 7D with 2.0.3. I guess I'll have to wait until the Magic Lantern team tweak the hack so it's compatible with v2.0.5. They say once you update firmware it cant be reversed.
I've read that you can downgrade the firmware to v2.0.3 to get it to work.
My camera shipped with the latest firmware which will not allow me use Magic Lantern.
